BIG JED

DAYTONA

Project Date:

Sept 2025

OVERVIEW

Daytona is a project for Big Jed – one of the most recognizable faces of the new Polish rap scene, known to wider audiences from Netflix’s Rhythm and Flow Poland. With 140K streams on Spotify, he’s an artist with an established presence and a sound that demands visuals to match.

OBJECTIVE

To create a visual identity that matches Big Jed’s energy – gritty, cinematic, and uncompromising. Something that looks as confident as the music sounds.

APPROACH

The visual direction leans into high-contrast black and white photography with deliberate overexposure and grain – evoking both analog film aesthetics and the raw intensity of live performance. Light becomes the main design element: burning through the frame, obscuring as much as it reveals. The title treatment mirrors this – molten, unstable, lit from within.

The project also included live concert photography – shot on voodoo club in Warsaw, June 2025.

OUTCOME

A visual identity that holds its own next to the biggest names in Polish rap – raw enough to feel authentic, considered enough to feel intentional.
